I really do! There is just something about inking up a pristine stamp that makes me all giddy. And with this card - I got to do it....TWICE! Oh yeah - I was getting my ink on!
Come a little closer:
I also added a little crystal laquer to the little leaves on the inside.
Stamps used: F182 Round Leafy Tree, D114 Small Leafy Topiary
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!

Again girl...WOW!!! Umm, yeah, in the mail...TODAY thankyouverymuch ;) (hehehe) This tree is one of my faves and you showcased it beautifuly! Who would have thought to turn the topiary on its side and make a border...simply beatuiful!! Ohh this card makes me smile!!!!
ReplyDeleteGeorgie - Crystal Laquer is basically the same as Glossy Accents by Ranger. Wendy & I perfer to use Crystal Laquer...it's better due to the wonderful tiny tip...notice the leaves on Wendy's full sized tree...can't do that with Glossy Accents tip!Hop on over to http://denamidesign.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=744 and check it out :)
Oh, this is so pretty, Wendy! I love flipping the topiary to the side too. After seeing DeNami DT member, Wendy, do it, I've been doing it pretty much everytime I use this stamp. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this card! Great ideas all coming together! I forget to make "windows" and they add just a bit of special to a card!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! Gotta love those leafy tree & topiary stamps!
