I was excited to use my new love, strawberry freeze iridescent cardstock! Also I am finally using the new ice cream cone that I just hadn't gotten around to pulling out....
I was going to add a little ribbon tab on the side with a colored staple, but changed my mind. I just couldn't resist using those adorable ice cream scooped chickies. I mixed old with new for my background also...decorative borders 1 and the mini cherries.
Did you notice all of the texture on the cone itself? After fussy cutting it, I ran it through a crimper then added the champagne glitter. Speaking of glitter, did you see how glitter-tastic my cherry is? I have to give credit to Paulina Nakamura for my button treatment. I've seen her layer her buttons and have been waiting for just the right card to come along!! I just love, love, love the effect!
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!
Love your textured waffle cone - and the glitterfied cherry on top of this yummy confection! The twine and buttons - so cute - and I agree that those chickies are perfect!
