Good morning everyone!! Sorry I'm a little late...forgot to schedule this little post...sigh! I had uploaded the picture and meant to write the post and schedule it yesterday...well that never happened! I'm sorry!!
I love a good CAS (clean & simple) layout for one main reason...time! There are time when I don't have a card on hand and need one quickly and honestly, I'm not good at all with CAS. Y'all know how I puffy heart me some layers and yummy embellishments!! Well, here's a layout that I came across a long time ago when DeNami hosted monthly challenges on their blog. I've used this layout again and again because it's easy to put your own spin on and basically, it's PERFECT!
It's sooooo hard for me to leave all of that "white" space!!! But that's what CAS is all about...no fuss! I used 3 stamps - dragonfly, steam curl and a sentiment from the everyday greetings stamp set. I also used very little cardstock. Half of a piece of black and the white & magenta are actually scraps!

This is a great CAS card Tina! I love that cute dragonfly stamp and that pop of pink with the layer on the sentiment and your twine. I used to have a hard time with all the white space on a CAS card, but I don't anymore. But I have a hard time making a CAS card because I just think mine don't look right. lol But I think I'm getting a little better at it, I think...Hugs, Brenda
