Dressed for a party

I'm still on the fence with yesterdays card. But not today's...I love the fun flirtyness of it!

I just love the glamour dress stamp but rarely have an occasion to use it. I jumped at the chance to pull it out for a fun wedding shower card. I colored the dress using some cheap Rose-Art colored pencils and orderless mineral spirits to blend and shade it. I've had some of the pretty Crystal Lacquer Pearl Pens from DeNami tucked away but hadn't gotten around to trying them out yet. I added some of the pink to the necklace and LOVE the result. It's so easy to use and the tiny tip was perfect for the itty bitty pearls.

That's all for me today, I'll see you back here tomorrow with a little formal black & white wedding card.

Simple all occasion girly card for your stash.

For someone that really likes navy blue I sure never use it. So, not long ago, I ordered some navy cardstock when was ordering a few stamps that I've had my eye on...this gorgeous dress has been on my list for a looooong time! I added Viva pearl pen to the necklace for some dimension.

For the panel accents I paired the Navy with Iridescent Pearl and Sky Blue cardstocks. Hmm, thinking I will keep this in my stash. I can use it for a birthday, wedding shower or thinking of you card.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!

All dressed up

Here's another stamp that caught my eye early on but never seemed to make it to the "I'll die without it" list. I'm so happy to have finally been able to order it!!!

I used my Viva Pearl Pen to give the pearls a little definition and pop. Then added added it to the center of all of the flowers.
