Pretty Pastels Blog Hop

It's that time again, time for the Denami Blog Hop and this time the theme is Pastels....actually PRETTY PASTELS to be exact - and really when are pastels not pretty.



If you are following the hop in order, then you should have arrived here from the talented Andrea Matthews.  For this hop I decided to pull out one of the chickies from the newest release.  I haven't had a opportunity to use this little cutie so I thought it was about time (or it could be at the time I was making my card I was dragging and sort of jonsing for a cup of java).




I used the CL-C91 (Coffee Cup Chickie), PF09 Espresso Petit Four Set, TR12 Sweet Treat Block Set, and the Hello stamp from the PF26 Assorted Greetings set.  And of course I had to add a little glitter to the chickie.

Now comes the fun part (as if getting loads of eye candy from the hop wasn't enough), Comments - we as blogger always love comments but when it comes to the hop you can love comments too - because Denami is giving away 2 - yes 2 - $20 gift certificates to random commenters on the hop! Woot!  So leave me comment love and who knows....you may get some back!

    Love your card... only thing I would have done differently is add some yellow... but I'm partial to yellow!

    Wendy, I love this card. I love that you created your own background on the pink cardstock, and also the diagonal use of the scallop stamp bordering your cute little chicks. The use of black ink really makes it pop! Great job.
