Simple all occasion girly card for your stash.

For someone that really likes navy blue I sure never use it. So, not long ago, I ordered some navy cardstock when was ordering a few stamps that I've had my eye on...this gorgeous dress has been on my list for a looooong time! I added Viva pearl pen to the necklace for some dimension.

For the panel accents I paired the Navy with Iridescent Pearl and Sky Blue cardstocks. Hmm, thinking I will keep this in my stash. I can use it for a birthday, wedding shower or thinking of you card.

Purple Flowers

I just love making cards but I have one slight little issue...I hate writing posts about my cards. There isn't always something to say, so I'm letting the card speak for itself...

I was looking for an excuse to pull out the sage cardstock...it's so pretty, but I find that I don't often pull it out. I thought it matched up very well with a little lavander sheer ribbon and flowers.

Bright and fun flowers

I'm gonna have to show Blogger a little love today...usually Blogger is not a real good friend and has a habit of being a little mean at times. However, today, Blogger is rockin'! Love the new changes that I'm seeing today...way to go Blogger!!

Wow, here in the Midwest we are having some strange weather...it was 85 degrees the other day...what the heck?!?!?! Well all this warm weather and rain has lots and lots of flowers blooming...so pretty!!

I just had to pull some out and play with them. While figuring out what I wanted to do I randomly pulled out some cardstock...without even thinking about it, I pulled out the current DeNami color challenge colors! I just love Emily's choice...she did awesome picking this combo, didn't she?

Hope you like what I came up with...
I used Magenta, Desert Orange, Lime & white (for the daisies & leaves) cardstocks
I wanted to have lots of dimension and texture so I dry embossed the orange strip that I edge punched and also dry embossed all the daises and leaves. I added buttons to the flower centers (don't tell anyone, but they were left overs from Halloween, lol) Ohh my, have ya'll tried out the new Fuchsia glitter yet...ohh I just LOVE it. It's not as red as the cranberry and not as hot pink as the magenta...it's more of a dark pinkish/purple, you should really try it out...what a great color!! I used it on the larger daisies and strawberry freeze on the smaller ones.

Everyone could use a Chickie on a rainy day

I just love blue and yellow together and decided I wanted to make something up with that color combo. Here's what I came up with....
I was having trouble deciding weather or not to color the umbrellas yellow or not. In the end, I just left them alone...

All dressed up

Here's another stamp that caught my eye early on but never seemed to make it to the "I'll die without it" list. I'm so happy to have finally been able to order it!!!

I used my Viva Pearl Pen to give the pearls a little definition and pop. Then added added it to the center of all of the flowers.

Happy St. Particks day...

Once again it's the time of year that it's okay to pull something green out of the fridge and eat it, lol! Hmmm, still not quite sure I'm up for that challenge, lol. ;)

Believe it or not, I've had that border punch for some time and NEVER used it. It's the ole' story each and everyone of us unfortunately knows...Joann's had a sale, this caught my eye, blah blah blah. In my defense I have tried to use it...honest...but it all turned out so horribly wrong, lol. Well, I have finally made something I'm happy with....my random impulse purchase is FINALLY justified ;)  WOO-HOO!!

Hope ya'll have a safe and happy St. Patricks day!!!

Spring is on it's way....FINALLY

Have ya'll had a chance to check out the new DeNami line yet?? The spring release is...dare I say it...Ohh, I dare! Springingly fresh and fun! I know...way cheesey, but ohh so true! Lots of flowers and ways to use them...what fun!!!

I decided to start off with this ADORABLE basket and fill it with pretty little flowers. I know ya'll get tired of me using this color combo...but I puffy heart it!!

I also can't get enough of the new borders / background type stamps...I'm a sucker for those! I was a fussy cutting fool when it came to this card. Yes, I could have just stamped them using a mask, but the deminison I ended up with is too cute.
