Embossed Flowers

The thing I like best about challenges is that it gets me thinking outside of my little pink sparkly little box. I made this card for a challenge that consisted of a red, green, darkish cream and brown color pallet...seriously...moi, use red?? If you read this blog or my personal crafty blog often, you know that that's asking quite a bit from me lol! As if the color palette wasn't bad enough, they threw in the whole "embossed flower" element to really try and throw me off! After a lot of thinking and waiting until almost the last day for entry, I finally came up with this....

I just LOVE using DeNami stamps to create unique backgrounds! The flowers were from a pack of different sized white flowers with clear bling centers. I dry embossed them, dusted them with 2 colors of red chalk, layered them and added a pearl...Love how they turned out. Hubby didn't like the little fence that I fussy cut and tucked up under the flowers...I'm looking for another opinion....Let me know!

Supplies:
B95 Mini swirl flourish
G153 Ornamental vine
E119 Fence
PF48 Thoughtful Greetings

Thanks, Tina

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!
