You know, imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery, or so they say. (on a side note, who is "they" and where are "they"?) With that in mind, I decided to "borrow", no... imitate, no... give my interpretation (yeah, that sounds good) of Tina's sketch from a few days ago. If you want to take a peek at it as well....just click HERE. Once again, I decided to play with the little Thanksgiving Chickies....they are just too cute!
(Please note that Flash has changed his position - again. He is trying to find his best angle. He is currently under contract negotiations and I am taking note of the "attitude")
Now for a closer look...
Actually, using this sketch was pretty quick and easy. So, when you are in need of a quick card and you don't have any on hand, I am sure Tina won't mind if you imitate her as well :)
Stamps used in this card: M65 Large Dot Swirl, D125 Turkey, PF21 Autumn Stamp Set, PF49 Thanksgiving Chickies Set, C64 Pumpkin Chickie
Wendy aka Cheeky who says.....yeah, I stole the idea but I have a really good excuse..hehe
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!
Love this sweet Thanksgiving card, Wendy! The Turkey and the Thanksgiving Chickies look so cute together!
ReplyDeleteWow, way to show me up sister! There should be a rule that if you steal it, it can't upstage (hehehe) ;)
ReplyDeleteThis card is too darling. I'm so excited to see someone using my little sketch...you're the firstest ever to use any of my sketches :) WOOT
Tell Flash to quit acting like a dive already...he could be replaced with a duck. ;)
ADORABLE card, Wendy! This is a great layout and works so well with the Thanksgiving chickies and sweet little turkey!!!
