Last week I got me some happy happy news...my little sissy-in-law has a bun in the oven - WOO-HOO!! But wait...it's not just one bun...she went all out and tried for the whole package...there's 2, a boy and a girl! She and her hubby are gonna make awesome parents and of course I get to be an auntie again...hmmm, running outta fingers and toes to count all my nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews on...dang, that really makes me sound old! I'm so excited I just had to make her up a little card.
Believe it or not, this is all one piece...yup, the queen of layers did a one layer card (insert harp playing angles...cause it's a miracle)! I puffy heart making my own background paper and that darling scallop border makes a wonderful accent strip that you can fill with anything.
And for the inside....
If you look closely you can see where I jacked up my little card...hey, it happens right? But like a seasoned card maker I made a little sumthin' and kinda covered it up...think she'll notice?
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think....good or bad....or even better - what would you have done differently??...crafty minds wanna know!
