Creating Keepsakes Convention in Charlotte, NC August 15th - 17th
I just love the little "paper dolls" all of the cute little outfits to dress them up in, sentiments and whimsical images. What better way than to show off all they have to offer and celebrate two milestones than to have a little booth with goodies for sale??
I created my little "booth" by stamping the little doll, Abigail, then masking her and stamping the Sweeties Stand. I used the basket from the Jelly Bean Time set (masking off the eggs) and hand drew in "sets of stamps" (I just LOVE the pretty little pink rosebud packaging on their stamps!). Paper Sweeties carries the prettiest colors of hand dyed tea stained seem binding so I hand drew a little basket with the bundles of seam binding spilling out (please ignore the fact that I can't draw worth a darn, lol). I felt like it still needed a little something more so I added a little DeNami Design basket (I'm sure this doesn't surprise you, lol) from the Easter Stamp set and filled it with roses from the little hat in the Jelly Bean Time set. The stands sign came from the Sweeties Stand set and I dressed (paper pieced) Abigail in the darling outfit from the Live Love Grow set. You probably can't tell from the picture, but I added a little pink "nail polish" to her toes ;) A girl can't go out in flip plops with her toes un-done now can she??
That's it for me today, I will be back here tomorrow with another little "birthday" creation, make sure you stop back by! :)
