I'm also entering this over at The Shabby Tea Room's current challenge. The requirements are: RED, WHITE (or CREAM), AQUA AND TWINE and/or BURLAP
This little cutie has all of the above even if my "red" is more of a cranberry red than bright red!
This card is why I have a love of those little 6 X 6 paper packs!! All three patterned papers were in one little pack (not the flag patterned paper) along with a little sheet of embellishments that you can cut out. I paired that all up with a little wood veneer scalloped circle frame that I misted in a sparkly aqua, one of my "go to" DeNami stamps...solid leaf vine, some yummy Prima roses, seam binding from Paper Sweeties and a little twine for accent. Ohh I forgot to tell you that the sentiment is from DeNami too. I changed it up with a little masking so that it fit onto the two flags. ;) I just love how this card came together. It's perfect...just like my dear sweet friend!
Have you had a chance to read all about our birthday celebration here on at the Addict blog?? I'm giving away a yummy DeNami gift certificate to a random winner. All you have to do to enter is follow one little rule...make a birthday themed card of your choice (No DeNami products have to be used)! Link up to the birthday celebration and at the end of the month I'll be drawing a random name for the prize package!
I'll see you right back here for the fun Summer Splash DeNami blog hop on Sunday!!
This birthday card is just beautiful! I love the colors, the banners, scalloped focal point and roses! Just gorgeous hun! Have a great weekend!!!
