Can you believe how fast July flew by??? I was busy from the 1st to the 31st...soooo much going on in my life...wow! August will see us sending the kiddos back to school and gearing up for the upcoming holidays...when is life supposed to slow down, lol??

So far August has been chock full of goodness for me. I've applied for the design team over at Sweet Stamp Shop and will be applying for the design team at The Shabby Tea Room this week.

I've entered a bunch of challenges in July...Paper Sweeties, The Shabby Tea Room, Sweet Stamp Shop, Jo'c Craft Shack, 10 minute Craft Dash. Some haven't announced results yet and some I've lost  but 2 of them I know I've won...WOO-HOO! As part of my winning, I was asked to guest design for a later challenge. :) That totally makes my day!!! Stop by for a visit at the Paper Sweeties blog. My card will be there with the DT's beautiful creations for their month long sketch challenge. And for the other one, I will have a card in the DT inspirational line up for this weeks challenge at The Shabby Tea Room.  What an honor...I'm totally on cloud 9 and all giddy over it!

I was also asked to participate in the big birthday over at Paper Sweeties...they turn 1 this month!! This past Friday, Saturday & Sunday they held 3 separate hops! Even Paulina from DeNami got in on the fun for Saturday's hop! She joined in on her personal blog, Pretty Pink Posh. Also this month I will be not only visiting with Nami and the family at the Collinsville, Il show, but may be working in the booth!! I'm seriously dancing excitedly in my seat over that (poor little chair!)!!! Ohhh I can't wait!!!!

I do want to take a minute to say a very heartfelt thank you to all all of you gals. You truly are amazing and awesome and make my heart so filled with joy. Your comments and thoughts mean so much to me!! Last month I wrote a little story about encouragement. The idea behind my little heartfelt story was to show ya'll that even though I don't get picked for a magazine, win challenges, etc...I still keep trying. How yes, I feel bad, but it does not stop me. I wanted you to know that if you feel that way it's perfectly alright and well, that your in good company...you're not alone!! And what was the response to my little story....you guys cheered me on!! I was trying to cheer you on and here ya'll turned the tables on me! That was amazing and ya'll made me cry happy tears!! Soooo not fair of you! ;) Thank you so much!! I work very hard at bringing you this blog and the facebook page. The only pay or compensation of any kind I receive is knowing that you visit....I do it simply for the love of paper crafting. You gals really did make my day and for that I say a HUGE thank you from the very bottom of my heart!!

I had a wonderful birthday and appreciate all of you that helped me celebrate with my 2 give a ways! Again, you gals are so awesome!!
